HANNAH WATTS PARK

Public BBQ

Hannah Watts Reserve in Melton presents a comprehensive family destination where undercover barbecue facilities anchor a surprisingly well-appointed recreational space. The park's recent rejuvenation has elevated what was once a standard suburban green space into something genuinely noteworthy. Established barbecue areas with adjacent seating create natural gathering points, while the surrounding landscape of mature trees and meandering waterways provides an unexpectedly serene backdrop for outdoor dining. Families appreciate the thoughtful layout that keeps barbecue zones accessible yet separate from the extensive playground equipment. The facility's proximity to clean toilet blocks and ample parking eliminates the usual suburban park frustrations. Walking trails weave through the grounds, offering post-meal exploration opportunities alongside the creek that borders the rear of the property. What distinguishes Hannah Watts from typical council offerings is its genuine sense of space and the community investment evident in recent improvements.
